Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve and National Park is one of the
most popular tiger heavens. It is situated in the districts of Umaria in Madhya
Pradesh. It is a mixed forest with large
water bodies and the Charan Ganga ,
Damnar, Banbai, Jhiria, many other River flows through it. The forests are mixed type with bamboo pure
Sal belts are rarely met with.
The topography comprises of low rise mountains interspersed with grasslands. There are small water bodies besides the Bandhavgarh.

The list of avian species is very large at Bandhavgarh.
Hence the forests are the best place for bird watching in Central India. The
trips can be organized along with tiger safari in the Core zone of the park as
well as the buffer. Wetland birds can be seen at the Small dam. Outside the park also offer
